Renewal of Licences for the Retail Marketing of Petroleum Products
- Complete an application form which may be obtained at the Ministry’s offices. The form must be signed by the dealer or in the case of a company or cooperative the secretary.
- For dealer owned stations a copy of the deed of conveyance evidencing a copy of the supply agreement with the wholesale marketer in respect of the business which is the subject of this application.
- A copy of the supply agreement with the wholesale marketer (NPMC or UNIPET) in respect of the business which is the subject of this application.
- Payment of a licence fee either at the Ministry’s accounting unit or any District Revenue Office. The scale of the licence fees are based on the local gasoline sales for the previous year as follows:

The process for applicants requesting a change of name in addition to steps (a) to (c) above, the
following must be submitted:
- A letter requesting the change of name
- Payment of a licence fee either at the Ministry’s accounting unit or any District Revenue Office of $500 and an application fee of $50
The process for applicants requesting a change of name due to death of previous owner in addition to steps (a) to (c) above, the following must be submitted:
- A letter requesting the change of name
- A copy of the death certificate
- Letters of Administration
- Payment of a licence fee either at the Ministry’s accounting unit or any District Revenue Office of $500 and an application fee of $50
Sale of Service Stations by Dealer Owners:
The Ministry must be informed before a station is sold to another person or entity. The Ministry is under no obligation to issue a licence to the purchaser.
