Liquid Propane Gas

NPMC is the sole wholesaler of LPG and is responsible for ensuring this fuel is marketed to the public of Trinidad and Tobago in an efficient and safe manner.

NPMC also commenced construction of Seven (7) 30,000 USG Bulk Storage Tanks (Bullets) at Crown Point, Tobago.  The programme schedule was expected to commence in October 2007, however, this was delayed as a result of procurement challenges and began in April 2008.

As a result of these challenges the project schedule has been altered. These sites are scheduled to be completed in March 2009 with ongoing construction work at all sites.

2008/2009

During 2008/2009 NPMC continued work on the upgrades which began in 2007/2008 which were delayed due to procurement challenges.

The company also concurrently started Phase III of the upgrade project which involved full upgrade of sites at Diego Martin, Siparia, D’abadie, Maraval, St. Charles, Maracas Beach, and Manzanilla.
