Trinidad and Tobago's Energy Policy framework includes a number of strategies to promote and facilitate local renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) growth and development. These initiatives are consistent with global trends aimed at mitigating climate change and can be expected to yield significant environmental, social and economic benefits to the nation. In order to assist the Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs in its planning agenda, an online register has been developed for local entities engaged in RE and EE businesses/support services and green construction design.
