Over the period July to August 2009, refinery throughput fluctuated with an average of 149,744 bpd with the highest throughput at 155,048 bpd in July. Crude oil imports for the refinery amounted to 4.5 million barrels, with 48% from West Africa, 29% from Colombia and 24% from Russia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
Table I (a) shows the refinery throughput for the period under review, and a comparison of year to date averages for refinery throughput from October 2008 to August 2009. Table I (b) shows the five-year average refinery schedule.
