The Honourable Ernesto R. Kesar, Minister in the Ministry of Energy and EnergyIndustries, delivered an address at the internationally renowned CMRP Certification Workshop hosted by the SMRP Caribbean Chapter on July 16th, 2025. Speaking on the topic, “The Importance of Professional Training and Certification,” Minister Kesar underscored the value of continuous professional development in the energy and industrial sectors. During the event, he presented two of SMRP’s training lecturers, Ms. Shelly Colai and Ms. Shriya Rampersad, with their letters of ISO/ANSI accreditation in recognition of their certified training contributions.
Also in attendance was Executive Chairman of the SMRP Trinidad Caribbean Chapter, Mr. Kuarlal Rampersad.
