I extend condolences on behalf of my family and I to the family, relatives and friends of former Minister of Energy, Mr. Franklin Khan.

I have a few fond memories of Mr. Khan from our attendance at an annual dinner and a few days of conference in Jamaica as guests of the Master Builders Association of Jamaica. He was Minister of Works and Transport then and I was President of the Trinidad & Tobago Contractors Association.

We also had a few meetings here at home at the Cabinet Appointed Construction Oversight Committee; his general approach to issues was always with optimism and positivity.
