I was so shocked when I heard of his passing. I always admired his friendly attitude to his juniors in the workplace, he never put on any airs or treated us harshly. If you are not part and parcel of the energy industry, it’s easy to not appreciate the struggle it takes to make things work, especially given recent events.
A great man has gone, my thoughts and condolences go out to his family.
