On September 23rd 2022, the Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, the Honourable Stuart R. Young MP, attended a contract signing ceremony between NGC and bpTT. The Honourable Minister of Energy and Energy Industries congratulated both NGC and bpTT on negotiating, in a collaborative manner, a new gas supply contract which secures future gas supply to the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGC), this gas will be utilized for the downstream petrochemical sector and electricity production.
