Today, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the
Prime Minister, the Honourable Stuart R. Young, MP, met with Woodside Energy’s
Ms. Shiva McMahon, Executive Vice President, International Operations who
introduced the Minister to Ms. Kellyanne Lochan, President and Country Manager
(Ag) of Woodside Energy, Trinidad and Tobago.
Accompanying the Woodside team was Mr. Marius Kotze, Vice President of Human
Resources, Woodside Energy and Dr Carla Noel Mendes, Corporate Affairs Manager
of Woodside Energy.
The parties met at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries’ Head Office in
Tower C, Port of Spain.
While the Minister’s introductory meeting with Ms. Kellyanne Lochan was the focal
point of the visit, discussions also surrounded Woodside’s current operations in
Trinidad and Tobago and an update on the deepwater project Calypso.
Minister Young extended his welcome and best wishes to Ms. Lochan and
expressed his continued willingness to work closely with the Woodside team.
Also at the meeting were Permanent Secretary (Ag) Ms. Sandra Fraser, Deputy
Permanent Secretary Ms. Karinsa Tulsie of the Ministry of Energy and Energy
Industries.
