The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries wishes to inform the media and the public that at approximately 6:30am today (7^th April 2021), there was an incident at NiQuan Energy Trinidad Limited, Pointe-A-Pierre.  This was as a result of a component failure resulting in a blowout.
