On 22nd May 2026, The Honourable Kamla Persad-Bissessar S.C., M.P. Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago along with Dr the Honourable Roodal Moonilal, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and the Honourable Ernesto Kesar Minister in the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries met with Mr Paul Riley, President ExxonMobil Trinidad and Tobago Deepwater Limited; Pedro Romero, Vice President of International Exploration Occidental Exploration (OXY); and Gboyega Ayeni, Business Development Manager Exxon Mobil Trinidad and Tobago Deepwater.
At the meeting the parties discussed ongoing projects and future near term investment opportunities within Trinidad and Tobago.
