The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI) remains engaged in assisting both Well Services Petroleum Company Limited and Heritage Petroleum Company Limited by providing 24-hour support for the Rig 110 Incident Response. International Expert, T&T Salvage also continues to be on-site and is providing support to the coordinated incident response.

Well Services and Heritage are providing support to Mr. Pete Phillip’s family members and keeping them updated on the operation’s progress.

The Honourable Stuart R. Young S.C, M.P. Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister and the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries are in regular contact with the teams on the ground and are being provided with regular briefings.

Minister Young and the members of staff of the MEEI continue to offer their prayers and thoughts to the family and friends of Mr. Pete Phillip during this difficult time.

The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries will continue to stay engaged and work with all stakeholders as response operations progress.
