The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries remains fully engaged in assisting both Well Services and Heritage Petroleum Company Limited by providing 24-hour support for the Rig 110 Incident Response.

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries Mrs. Penelope Bradshaw-Niles visited the ‘Incident Command Centre’ located at the Trinmar Marine Base, Point Fortin and received an update on the rescue operations.

On-site at the Trinmar Base, Permanent Secretary Bradshaw-Niles also met with the family members of Mr. Pete Phillip.

Incident response efforts remain ongoing and the MEEI team remains on the ground.
