Let me firstly extend my my most heartfelt condolences to the Khan family on their loss. I have been privileged to have many interactions with Franklin over 20 plus years. I was always been struck by his calm demeanor, gentle humanity and also his deep understanding of the energy business. The country has lost a true patriot and we are poorer for his passing. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

I was so shocked when I heard of his passing. I always admired his friendly attitude to his juniors in the workplace, he never put on any airs or treated us harshly. If you are not part and parcel of the energy industry, it's easy to not appreciate the struggle it takes to make things work, especially given recent events. A great man has gone, my thoughts and condolences go out to his family.
