On behalf of myself and my family, I extend condolences to Minister Khan's wife Laura, the members of his family, and to the team at MEEI at this time of his sudden passing. Like many others, I am just getting over the shock of his passing. We have been colleagues for almost all of our entire professional careers in the energy sector and in the Cabinet and I only recently had an in-depth conversation with him on a matter. He will be missed. Further, I have been asked to pass on condolences from the African Energy Chamber. I am also aware that several of Minister Khan's ministerial colleagues from around the world have expressed their shock and send their condolences.
